On March 14, 2022, the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź, organizes for the young adepts of the musical art, who are planning their professional career, a meeting with Ivan van Kalmthout, director of the International Vocal Competition in ‘s‑Hertogenbosch,.

Drawing on the broad experience of the guest, we will take a multi-layered look at shaping the next stages of professional development, taking into account promotional, marketing and legal aspects, including:

  • How to plan professional development after the graduation?
  • How to develop a repertoire?
  • What to expect from cooperation with the artistic agencies?
  • What to pay attention to when signing contracts for artistic activities?
  • How to plan promotional activities?
  • Is it worth promoting in social media?

The event will take place as part of the project “New voices, rediscovered operas”,
carried out by the University of Music in Łódź and the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra.
